The agricultural portion of Maryland’s IPM program conducts innovative research collaboratively and on an interdisciplinary basis. Field studies and demonstration plots are established according to stakeholders’ expressed needs and with stakeholders' involvement in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of tested management strategies. These applied research and demonstration projects focus on sustainable practices and alternative management strategies useful to producers of fresh and processing vegetables and agronomic crops.
