Welcome to the Maryland Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Programs!

Widely acknowledged as a sustainable approach to pest management, the IPM approach combines the use of biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tactics in a manner that strives to minimize economic, health, and environmental risks.

The IPM Programs draw from the expertise of faculty and staff in both the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the College of Chemical and Life Sciences.
