IPM Focus Areas

The diverse nature of the Maryland IPM Program activities requires input from faculty in crop science, entomology, horticulture, plant pathology, and weed science - all of whom contribute to projects and serve as information resources for agronomic and horticultural crops, urban and structural pest management. Maryland 's IPM efforts are focused on minimizing economic, environmental, and health risks through innovation and site-specific evaluation of biological, cultural, physical, and chemical tactics.
